Marti’s Musings

Saturday morning, and I figured it is my time to write a bit of a blog today. It is hard to believe that next month it will be a year that we moved back to BC; how time flies. In a way, it feels like it’s been a long year, but in another way, it doesn’t seem like it’s been that long.

Having to be in quarantine for two weeks upon arriving, along with the U-Haul truck being in quarantine as well, was an exciting time.  Especially coming from the sunny weather in AZ, it was still a bit cool and rainy, so cooped up inside wasn’t the greatest experience. Although hubby and I at times would put on music and do some jigging together. 🙂  Many years ago I learned that as Paul said to the Philippians, “I’ve learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances!” so we rejoiced through it all.

All in all, it’s been a good move, catching up with family and friends. At least the best you can with all the restrictions that they seemingly want to put on us. I have had one brother in Ohio and a sister-in-law in Kentucky pass away the last several months, and with the border situation, I wasn’t able to attend, which was a bit difficult for me. But they are rejoicing with many of the family that has gone on before.

We look forward to staying in touch with our friends and family online, and trusting our new website will be a blessing.
