April is almost over and Spring has sprung! Wow! It has been a year since coming back to Canada. It is hard to believe how fast time goes. We’ve seen a lot of changes with the covid flu (which seems like there is no such thing as normal flu anymore) and the Government wants to put more restrictions on us. With many believing prayers of Gods people, we’re believing for things to change.
It is sad to see and to hear how many young people who are taking their lives. Without having hope in the Lord these days, it is hard to realize how people manage life with all the things coming from all directions. I recently thought of a song that we used to sing, which is found in Lamentations 3:26: “It is good that one should both hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” The previous verse says, “The Lord is good to those who wait for Him.” Waiting quietly is often the hardest part at times.
The Lord is my portion, says my soul, therefore I will hope in Him. Our hope comes from the Lord who made and heaven and earth. So don’t be weary in well doing. Keep your chin up and we will see better things on the horizon.
Blessings from our house to yours,
